Custom Tern X10 - "Stark" - Eat - Bike

This is my first folding bike. This is a custom Tern Verge X10. Tern is a taiwanese company that specializes on folding bikes (FB). They generally offer FBs with 20" or greater wheels and have great value for money.

My bike came out of the box weighing 9.8 kg (listed) which was already lightest compared to most folding bikes but that was not light enough for me. I needed to make it lighter. These are the upgrades I have installed: Avid SD ultimate brake levers, Avid ultimate v-brakes, SRAM X10 shifter, Syntace Carbon handlebar, FSA SLK carbon cranset, and Fizzik Antares 00 carbon saddle.

I don't have the opportunity to weigh my bike yet but I assumed that I could have reduced around 800 grams with those upgrades. It may be bigger than my brompton but its a lot lighter and faster. :)

"Stark" is currently not here with me in Metro Manila. He is currently resting in my home in Metro Cebu. I'll be posting some updates soon. :)
