Kimukatsu

I have been eating in numerous tonkatsu restaurants recently. And there is one place that me and my partner have been praising about. I would like to share it with you guys.

Kimukatsu is a restaurant chain that serves unique pork cutlets wherein the pork is sliced thin and stacked into 25 layers. This keeps the natural juices inside between the layers and makes the cutlet very flavorful.

Like a number of tonkatsu restaurants in Metro Manila, the pork cutlet meal comes with unlimited shredded cabbage, rice and miso soup (red - strong, white - light).

Kimukatsu Plain (P380) is all about the natural taste of their special pork cutlet. However, if you want to have some sort of variation, I recommend trying their Kimukatsu Garlic, Cheese and Black Pepper.

Another recommended dish is their Ebi Mayo (P210). This is their version of the chinese hot prawn salad.

If you have been bitten by the Tonkatsu bug that has been spreading around the Metro, don't forget to take a bite of the Kimukatsu. :)
